Job description

Primary Responsibilities

  • Drive new business acquisition across property managers, short-term rental platforms, and marketplace partners, while expanding into adjacent verticals such as long-term rentals, homeowners' associations, and self-storage.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline through proactive outbound prospecting, including LinkedIn, industry networks, events, referrals, and other relevant channels.
  • Lead discovery and qualification calls using a structured sales methodology to advance opportunities through the funnel with clear next steps.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, frominitialoutreach and discovery through negotiation and close, engagingsalesleadership as needed for complex or strategic opportunities.
  • Develop strategic account plans forpriority prospects, including stakeholder mapping, engagement strategies, and realistic deal timelines.
  • Partner with Marketing and Sales Leadership to refine target account strategies, developclient personas, and align outreach campaigns.
  • Test, measure, and scale new prospecting and engagement strategies that improve conversion throughout the sales funnel.
  • Provide structured market feedback, including industry trends, competitive intelligence, and customer needs, to help inform product and go-to-market decisions.
  • Maintain accurate and current CRM records, including pipeline stages, forecasts, activities, and next steps.
  • Represent the company in customer meetings,presentations, conferences, and other industry events.
  • Travel as needed to support sales opportunities, client meetings, and industry conferences.


Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven success in B2B SaaS or fintech sales, with experience in payments, marketplaces, hospitality, or short-term rentals strongly preferred.
  • Full-cycle sales experience and a strong understanding of consultative selling and structured qualification frameworks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate product capabilities into compelling, customer-focused value propositions.
  • Demonstrated ability to build executive-level relationships, manage a pipeline, close complex deals, and consistently meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM platforms, such as Salesforce, and sales engagement or prospecting tools.
  • Working knowledge of KYC, underwriting requirements, and merchant onboarding processes.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable operating in a high-growth, remote-first environment.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Professional presence and polished business writing skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and credibly through emails, proposals, virtual presentations, and other materials intended for executive audiences.

Compensation

  • Base Salary Range: $53,000 - $100,000 / year
  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): $103,000 - $200,000 / year


This is a full-time, exempt, fully remote position. In addition to a guaranteed base salary, this role participates in the Yapstone Sales Incentive Plan. The OTE range reflects your base salary plus standard variable commissions earned upon reaching 100% of defined sales targets. An individual's exact starting base salary is determined by their physical work location, experience, and core competencies.
