Job description

Responsible for the smooth and efficient daily operations of Sea Pro's Warehouse(s) including managing inventory accuracy =/> 95%, Parts Counter / Production Support, Receiving & processing incoming and outgoing orders, running morning Team meetings, maintaining the organization of the warehouse, tracking orders & backorders, & maintain a safe and organized workplace. Overtime is required as needed.Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Maintaining accurate records (transactions) of stock levels, participating in inventory counts, and investigating discrepancies to root cause.
  • Parts Counter / Production Support: Shared responsibility of Parts Counter Support. Working directly w/ Production to assist with issuance of parts while maintaining acceptable inventory accuracy levels =/> 95% via ERP transactions.
  • Shipping and Receiving: Shared responsibility (rotating) on the receipt of all incoming shipments, verifying contents, accurately transacting, and preparing outgoing shipments.
  • Warehouse Operations: Effectively managing warehouse space to maximize utilization, ensuring safety regulations are followed, and coordinating with other departments when applicable.
  • Staff Training: Assist in training new employees particularly for Sea Pro logistics or warehousing duties when assigned.
  • Documentation and Record Keeping: Completing necessary paperwork for receiving and shipping including all ERP Transactions as real time as possible and maintaining accurate records of inventory movement.
  • Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving discrepancies, ensuring efficient workflows, and improving warehouse processes where needed.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensuring the proper operation and maintenance of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Maintain required job training videos

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Experience with the following or similar equipment: forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems/ ability to interpret data
  • Prior experience in warehousing, logistics, or a related field is often highly valued
  • Excellent in written, interpersonal communications and organizational skills
  • Detail oriented and good time management
Key Competencies
  • Proficient with MS Office, with a high focus on Excel.
  • Epicor or equivalent ERP system.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry/move up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Climb, crawl, push, pull, lift, rotate arms at various angles, reach overhead, reach at or below shoulder level, gross and fine manipulation, stooping, crouching, kneeling, crawling, speaking, hearing, visually inspecting work, etc.
  • Work in an environment with exposure to noise at levels not requiring ear protection, and dust.
  • Seasonal Temperatures may impact work environment.
