Job description

Job Overview:
We’re hiring a Shop Technician/ Screen Print Artist / Operator to handle both design and production in a fast-paced print shop. This role requires experience or willing to learn the ability to run both manual and automatic screen printing equipment, reset screens, clean the shop, apply Direct Transfer Films with heat press, fold and bag shirts.
Responsibilities:
  • Design and prepare print-ready artwork using Adobe Creative Suite, Affinity Designer, Canva, and Photoshop
  • Set up and operate manual and automatic presses
  • Coat screens with emulsion, expose, wash out, and reclaim screens
  • Mix inks and ensure accurate color matching and registration
  • Monitor print quality and maintain consistency throughout runs
  • Troubleshoot printing or equipment issues as they arise
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Preferred:
  • Experience with screen printing (manual and/or automatic presses)
  • Proficiency in Adobe, Affinity, Canva, and Photoshop
  • Knowledge of screen prep (emulsion coating, washing, reclaiming)
  • Strong attention to detail and color accuracy
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Reliable and able to work on your feet in a production environment
  • Previous print shop experience
  • Basic equipment maintenance knowledge
Work Environment:
  • Production-based, fast-paced setting
  • Standing for long periods and lifting materials as needed
