DataCrest is an early stage insurance technology company that has created solutions for clear and omnipresent problems restraining deal flow and revenue for our current and target clients. We are looking to significantly expand our client base and to provide our solutions to the managing general agent (MGA), insurance carrier and broker marketplace.

Job Description:
We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic person to join our team. This is an opportunity to be an integral part of the organization and have a big impact in a fast-growing organization with a fun, inclusive culture. The main area of focus for this role will be on the identification and development of qualified leads and then opening and closing new business opportunities. Candidates need to be organized, tech savvy, self-starters and have a commercial insurance or SaaS background. This position offers unlimited income potential, flexible hours, ability to work remotely, and a path for advancement.

Responsibilities:
  • Open and close new business opportunities
  • Work with prospective clients and partners executives
  • Articulate SaaS product value to customers and explain that value based on a customer’s operations
  • Contribute to marketing efforts such as campaigns, social media, and white papers
  • Create and foster events such as webinars and educational opportunities
  • Attend trade shows and speaking engagements
  • Seek and relay new products and improvement to executive team
  • Deliver on commitments in a timely manner and with passion
  • Detail-oriented
  • Proactively seek out and solve customer’s problems before they arise
Requirements:
  • Previous work experience and relationships with Property amp; Casualty insurance carriers, managing general agents (MGAs), and retail agents is strongly favored
  • SaaS sales understanding and experience is favored
  • Enthusiastic about working in an early-stage tech environment
  • Eager to learn our products, and ability to explain and demonstrate its features and benefits to others
  • Impeccable organizational skills with the ability to navigate multiple opportunities at concurrently in high-pressure settings
  • Outgoing and personable; have a natural ability to connect with people
  • Clear, concise, and effective communication skills in written and verbal form

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
