What You'll Do
  • Conduct overnight polysomnography (sleep studies) according to physician orders and established protocols
  • Prepare patients and apply monitoring equipment to ensure accurate diagnostic testing
  • Monitor, document, and troubleshoot physiologic data throughout sleep studies
  • Score and analyze sleep study data for physician interpretation
  • Educate patients and families regarding sleep testing procedures and sleep health
  • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and exceptional customer service throughout the testing process
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all regulatory and accreditation standards
Qualifications
  • Completion of an accredited Polysomnography Technology program or equivalent training
  • Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) credential preferred or eligible to obtain
  • Current BLS/CPR certification
  • Strong critical-thinking skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach to care
