Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT)
Full-Time | 40 Hours | Midnight Shift (10-12 hour shifts starting at 7:30 PM)

Henry Ford Health is seeking a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) to join our highly respected Sleep Center team at our Detroit Main Campus. In this role, you will work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment where your expertise directly contributes to the diagnosis, treatment, and improvement of sleep health for our patients.
This position offers the opportunity to work with advanced technology, supportive leadership, and a team committed to clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and oversee complex polysomnographic procedures and therapeutic interventions, including CPAP and BiPAP titrations
  • Monitor sleep studies and assist technologists with troubleshooting to ensure accurate and high-quality data acquisition
  • Score and tabulate sleep recordings in accordance with established guidelines, including sleep staging, respiratory events, and limb movements
  • Prepare detailed reports and summaries for physician interpretation
  • Ensure adherence to BRPT Standards of Conduct and departmental policies
  • Maintain compliance with HFHS Sleep Center guidelines for scoring reliability and quality assurance
  • Support a safe, professional, and patient-focused care environment

Qualifications
Required
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Current Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) credential through BRPT
  • Current BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification
  • Knowledge of polysomnography procedures, scoring standards, and sleep study equipment

Preferred
  • Bachelor's degree with coursework in a scientific or healthcare-related field
  • Prior experience in a sleep lab or accredited sleep center
