Job description

Emergency Department- RN (Contract Role)
Location: Concord, MA, 03301
Duration: 18-week Contract
Shift: 1:00 PM – 1:00 AM or 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Weekly Pay: $2,088 - $2,232; Based on experience (Negotiable)

    Position Summary:

    We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract role in a fast-paced hospital setting in Concord, MA. This position requires a confident, skilled, and compassionate RN with prior emergency room experience and a strong ability to adapt to a dynamic clinical environment.


    Responsibilities:

    • Deliver patient-centered care in a high-acuity Emergency Department.
    • Triage patients and prioritize care based on clinical urgency.
    • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with clinical protocols.
    • Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and support staff to provide timely and accurate care.
    • Monitor and assess changes in patient condition, reporting critical information promptly.
    • Document all care provided accurately in the EMR system (Cerner preferred but not required).
    • Adhere to infection control, safety standards, and hospital policies.
    • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families during emergency situations.

    Requirements:

    • Licensure: Active NH or Compact State RN license (Required)
    • Certifications:
      • BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
      • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – Required
      • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – Required
      • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – Required
    • Experience:
      • Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience – Required
      • Documented travel nursing experience.
    • EMR Experience:
      • Cerner experience preferred but not mandatory.
