What is it like to work as Supply Chain?
In this role you will have the following daily key responsibilities:
Acts as the main focal point of a subset of Orion suppliers and/or supply chain activities.
Lead Supply Chain new business pursuits, to include shaping Request For Proposals (RFPs) to subcontractors, understanding strategic initiatives to have a strong position to win, and working with the Supply Chain Management team through negotiations supporting their Basis of Estimate
Manage the Cost, Schedule, and Technical aspects of multiple suppliers
Collaborate and communicate long term strategies to develop and implement initiatives that drive streamlining and commonization of subcontracted hardware and processes
Identify and coordinate alternate sources and technology insertion to significantly improve innovation and competition Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment. Purchasing/Procurement/Supply Chain
Earned Value Management metrics via Performance Based Payments (PBPs) or Cost Plus contracting
This position does not support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility one of the Coolest places to work: Denver, Colorado , and be expected to work in the office.
