The NextGen Event Marketing & Communications Internship is a hands-on, remote experience designed for college students and recent graduates who want real-world exposure to event planning, marketing strategy, and business operations.

Since 2017, this program has helped aspiring professionals build practical skills, develop confidence, and gain experience working on real events, campaigns, and initiatives.

Job Description

As an intern, you will actively contribute to planning and promoting events while supporting marketing and communications efforts. Responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting with event planning, coordination, and execution
  • Supporting marketing campaigns (email, social media, promotions)
  • Creating and scheduling content for digital platforms
  • Conducting research for events, partnerships, and outreach
  • Assisting with email marketing and communications
  • Collaborating with team members on projects and assignments
  • Participating in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and trainings
