Position Overview

The Lyra Behavioral Center is seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional mental health services. This full-time remote position promotes the well-being of individuals and families, particularly those affected by cancer diagnoses. The ideal candidate will utilize their expertise to deliver outpatient therapy, develop individualized treatment plans, and contribute to the overall mission of improving patient outcomes through compassionate care.

About the Organization

At Lyra Behavioral Center, our vision is bold and ambitious: we strive to reinvent health care by becoming a proactive partner in health and enriching the lives of our patients. We are committed to providing higher standards of care while ensuring equitable access for all. Our core values include compassion, excellence, leadership, innovation, and agility, which empower our team members to act as catalysts for positive change in the healthcare landscape.

Work Environment

This role is performed remotely, allowing for flexibility while maintaining seamless connection with colleagues and clients. Daily interactions take place through telehealth platforms, ensuring that our team collaborates effectively while adapting to the unique needs of our clientele. You will work in a climate-controlled environment equipped with the latest technology, enabling efficient communication and documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patientsโ€™ mental health status, utilizing established diagnostic tools such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders to inform individualized treatment planning.

  • Implement evidence-based practices to foster positive patient outcomes, continually assessing progress and adapting interventions as necessary to address changing needs.

  • Document all treatment records, reports, and correspondence with precision and within designated timelines, adhering to all regulatory requirements and departmental protocols.

  • Collaborate closely with patients to develop tailored treatment plans that reflect their unique goals and cultural backgrounds, such as creating objectives focused on symptom reduction and enhancing overall wellness.

  • Serve as a liaison between patients and other healthcare providers, coordinating referrals and ensuring a smooth transition between various levels of care.

  • Provide mentorship to students, interns, and new colleagues, fostering a culture of learning and professional development within the organization.

  • Participate in peer review and clinical collaboration under the guidance of a clinical supervisor, actively contributing to team development and quality improvement initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily involves working with individuals and families confronting the emotional and psychological challenges associated with a cancer diagnosis. Our patients come from diverse backgrounds and require tailored interventions that consider their unique life experiences, cultural influences, and personal goals. The LCSW plays a crucial role in helping navigate the complexities of their mental health journey.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.

  • Must possess a current State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience providing mental health support to individuals impacted by serious illness, preferably in an outpatient setting.

  • Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and documentation practices is highly regarded.

  • Experience working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from $90,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to competitive salaries, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and a sign-on bonus to new hires. Employee wellness is a priority, and we support our team's work/life balance through flexible scheduling options.
