This remote position requires some on-site interaction at our Detox Center. The work environment includes a climate-controlled office setting with opportunities for daily movement and interaction with other healthcare professionals. • Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnose patients as needed, utilizing evidence-based tools in accordance with the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM). Develop tailored care plans that are culturally sensitive and considerate of the diverse backgrounds of patients.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress over time, adjusting treatment strategies as required to meet mental health goals. Maintain open communication with patients to support their journey toward improved mental health.
• Prepare and maintain treatment records, reports, and clinical documentation accurately and in a timely manner, in accordance with the department's policies and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with patients and their families to create holistic treatment plans that address individual needs, goals, and desired outcomes. Stay vigilant in recognizing signs of distress and employ strategies to ensure patient safety and symptom management.
• Act as a liaison for patients, coordinating referrals and ensuring smooth transitions to appropriate treatment providers. Build and maintain effective working relationships with other clinicians and referral agencies to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Offer mentorship and support for interns, students, and other team members. Participate in peer review and clinical collaboration to foster professional development within the team.

In this role, you will primarily serve individuals and families who are navigating the complex realities of a cancer diagnosis. Your expertise will help them coping with emotional and psychological challenges, contributing to their overall wellness and integration into a supportive community. Understanding the unique needs of this patient population is crucial as you tailor your therapeutic approach and establish meaningful connections.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work.
• A current license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Massachusetts.
• Strong knowledge of mental health assessment tools and treatment methodologies relevant to cancer care.

• Experience working with cancer patients or in a similar healthcare setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing electronic health records and other technology to maintain patient documentation seamlessly.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
