Job description

Mayvin is currently seeking experienced applicants to join our corporate team as a Talent Acquisition Specialist. The position requires the ability to manage the recruiting life cycle (from sourcing to offer generation) for staffing cleared individuals and critical positions.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must submit to a background investigation and be eligible for a Secret clearance.
This position is remote, office located in Alexandria, VA.
Responsibilities:
  • Work with Recruiting, Human Resources, Program Managers and Executives to develop strategic sourcing strategies targeting cleared technical professionals (active and passive job seekers). Partner with Recruiting and Hiring Managers to identify key requirements for each role
  • Source, screen, and present qualified candidates for positions
  • Build a continuous candidate pipeline and create leads through various sourcing methods
  • Analyze candidate information to determine matches between candidates and job openings-submit qualified candidates to open job requirements
  • Build and identify networks through industry groups and contacts, association memberships, and current employees to identify qualified candidates and expand our talent pipeline
  • Maintain accurate reporting and fully utilize the Applicant Tracking System (Paycom)
  • Conduct regular follow-up with hiring managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans, sourcing techniques, time to fill metrics and quality of hires
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external "customers"
  • Able to work extended hours, any shift, or weekends as required
  • Support proposal efforts by identifying and sourcing contingent key personne

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience directly engaged in Navy recruiting activity,
  • Demonstrated ability to work in person, with TEAMs, and hybrid environment engaging with internal customers
  • Experience with advanced and non-traditional search and sourcing techniques to uncover talent.
  • A working knowledge of general HR concepts, practices, laws and procedures

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
