Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to understand each client's specific mental health needs, utilizing established screening tools and therapeutic techniques.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans that align with clients’ therapeutic goals, tracking their progress through regular follow-ups and evaluations.
• Provide engaging and interactive individual therapy sessions, employing appropriate modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based techniques.
• Facilitate teletherapy sessions while ensuring that clients feel comfortable and supported during virtual interactions, utilizing effective communication skills to build rapport.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of client progress and treatment within our secure electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in ongoing professional development, taking advantage of training sessions, workshops, and peer supervision opportunities to continue enhancing your clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will focus on a diverse range of clients, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will have the opportunity to work with clients from different backgrounds and age groups, using tailored approaches to meet their unique needs. By fostering a non-judgmental and empathetic therapeutic relationship, you will help clients navigate their challenges and develop coping strategies to enhance their overall well-being.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current and valid license in the state of Maryland as a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Certified Social Worker – Clinical (LCSW-C), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, establishing a trusting and therapeutic relationship with clients by employing empathy and active listening skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills are essential for maintaining an effective caseload and meeting administrative responsibilities.
• Knowledge of current best practices in mental health care and a commitment to continuing education are highly valued.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in Telehealth services is a plus, as well as familiarity with digital tools and platforms used for virtual therapy.
• Prior experience working with specific populations, such as children, adolescents, or trauma survivors, may enhance your effectiveness in this role.

• Competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, based on your experience and the complexity of your caseload.
