Position Overview

Infinity Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dynamic team in a full-time remote role. Work Environment

Our remote work setting is designed to promote professionalism and confidentiality, providing therapists with the resources they need to thrive. While the primary focus will be on virtual therapy sessions, the successful candidate will occasionally participate in team meetings and training at our outpatient office in Waldorf, creating opportunities for in-person interaction, mentorship, and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth assessments and evaluations to understand each client's unique mental health challenges, followed by the development of tailored treatment plans that address their needs and goals.
• Provide individualized therapy sessions through evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and others, ensuring that each approach suits the client's preferences and individual circumstances.
• Collaborate with clients to set realistic therapeutic goals and regularly monitor their progress to adapt treatment plans as needed, ensuring optimal outcomes throughout the healing journey.
• Offer teletherapy options for clients who may prefer virtual sessions, ensuring that accessibility remains a priority, especially for those dealing with geographical or mobility challenges.
• Document all client interactions accurately and promptly in compliance with ethical and regulatory standards, maintaining a high level of professionalism in record-keeping.
• Engage in continuous professional development and training to stay updated on current best practices in the mental health field, thereby enhancing clinical skillsets and service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Mental Health Therapist at Infinity Wellness Center, you will work with diverse populations facing various challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and life transitions. Qualifications

• A current and valid license from the state of Maryland as a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Certified Social Worker - Clinical (LCSW-C), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of establishing trust and rapport with clients to foster a safe therapeutic environment.
• Empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude, allowing for a deeper understanding of clients' experiences and challenges.
• Strong organizational and time-management capabilities, enabling efficient case management and adherence to deadlines.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a private practice or outpatient setting focusing on individual therapy.
• Familiarity with telehealth tools and technology to facilitate effective and engaging virtual sessions.
• A proven track record of successfully managing a diverse caseload.
• Continuing education or specialized training in trauma-informed care, mindfulness-based practices, or similar methodologies.
