Carefree Calmness Counseling P.C is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. This remote position offers the unique opportunity to work primarily with the pediatric population, specifically infants and toddlers from birth to age three, who have developmental delays or are at risk for delays. • Conduct thorough multidisciplinary assessments to evaluate the developmental status of clients, ensuring that evaluations are comprehensive and tailored to specific needs.
• Deliver individualized home and community-based early intervention services that promote developmental progress in areas such as cognitive, adaptive behavior, social-emotional skills, self-care, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, and communication.
• Collaborate with families to create and implement an Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP), detailing specific goals, objectives, and intervention strategies to support each child's development.
• Maintain accurate documentation through progress notes, assessments, and reports while adhering to confidentiality standards and professional boundaries.
• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions for infants and toddlers, facilitating supportive and enriching interventions that engage parents and caregivers in the developmental process.
• Regularly evaluate and monitor the progress of each child and family, adjusting intervention strategies as necessary to meet dynamic needs.
• Act as a navigator for families by coordinating services, scheduling necessary appointments, and ensuring timely delivery of interventions according to established timelines.
• Educate and empower families, supplying them with resources and skills to advocate effectively for their children’s needs.

This position focuses on supporting a specific client demographic: infants and toddlers from birth to three years who have developmental delays or are at risk for such delays. You will be instrumental in providing services that address the unique challenges faced by these young children and their families, helping to create long-lasting positive impacts on their overall growth and development.

• Must possess a valid Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license in the state of Washington.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or a related field is required.
• Proven ability to cultivate therapeutic relationships with children, families, and community partners to foster trust and engagement.
• Excellent communication, both written and verbal, is essential for documenting casework and advocating effectively for families.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to upholding ethical and professional standards are vital.
• Must have a current driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel to family homes and community settings as needed.

• Previous experience working with infants, toddlers, and their families is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of family systems and early childhood development principles is a significant asset.
