SharpLane Behavioral Health is excited to announce a full-time opportunity for a Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dynamic and passionate team. This remote role is designed for licensed professionals dedicated to improving the mental health of diverse client populations while working in a community health clinic setting. As a therapist, you will engage with individuals facing various mental health challenges, including substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, and eating disorders, crafting tailored therapeutic interventions to promote recovery and well-being.

Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine clientsโ€™ mental health status and needs, ensuring an individualized approach.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored for each client, integrating recognized methodologies to address a range of conditions.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions, facilitating discussions and activities that foster healing and growth.
  • Regularly monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans when necessary to effectively address evolving needs.
  • Establish collaborative relationships with other healthcare professionals, providing referrals to psychiatrists or other specialists as appropriate to enhance patient care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of clients, each bringing their unique experiences and challenges. The patient population will include adolescents, adults, and families confronting behavioral health issues, often in marginalized communities. Your understanding of cultural competence will be vital in providing effective support that respects each individualโ€™s background and situation.

Qualifications
  • Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology, from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience providing mental health counseling or therapy.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of mental health disorders, best practices in therapy, and the ability to implement evidence-based approaches in a culturally responsive manner.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience conducting both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on inclusivity and sensitivity to cultural considerations.
  • Strong skills in crisis intervention, with the ability to manage challenging situations and provide stabilization to clients in distress.
  • Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems and other digital applications essential for patient documentation and reporting.
  • A demonstrated commitment to ethical guidelines, patient confidentiality, and professional boundaries.
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive yearly salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to your base salary, a sign-on bonus of up to $1,000 is available to qualified candidates.
