This role is set in a climate-controlled remote working environment, complemented by a network of professionals collaborating to enhance the support offered to our patients. You will engage virtually with department members and healthcare providers, creating a dynamic synergy that emphasizes comprehensive care. Your day-to-day experience will involve active communication and collaboration to ensure holistic treatment approaches.

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to diagnose and determine appropriate mental health care intervention strategies, employing diagnostic resources such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-V).

• Develop and maintain individualized care plans that respect cultural diversity, adapt to special needs, and actively engage the patients and their families in the treatment process.

• Document all treatment activities, patient interactions, and progress notes accurately and in a timely manner, complying with regulatory requirements and departmental protocols.

• Collaborate intensively with patients to continually assess their progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans that may involve safety interventions and symptom management strategies.

• Serve as a vital link between patients and other healthcare providers, coordinating referrals and fostering strong relationships to facilitate effective treatment pathways.

• Take an active role in the educational development of interns and students, offering mentorship and guidance to enrich their learning experience.

• Support the continuous improvement of your department by participating in peer-to-peer reviews, clinical assessments, and engaging in team development activities as guided by your clinical supervisor.

The therapeutic services you'll provide will predominantly cater to individuals battling cancer and their families. Understanding the emotional and psychological hurdles stemming from such diagnoses is critical, allowing you to employ unique interventions that resonate with their experiences and promote healing. • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience providing behavioral health services, ideally in outpatient or acute care settings.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and community resource networks.
