This role primarily operates in a climate-controlled virtual office, allowing you to remain in a comfortable and conducive environment for both patient engagement and personal productivity. Daily engagements with healthcare providers and department members will occur virtually, promoting a collaborative approach to patient care. While the setting is predominantly remote, expectations for movement throughout the facility may arise for occasional departmental meetings or training sessions.

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients impacted by cancer, utilizing the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders when necessary, to create tailored care plans that consider cultural diversity and special requirements.
• Continually monitor patient progress and implement appropriate interventions to support mental health diagnoses, ensuring a proactive response to evolving patient needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatment records, clinical reports, and other essential patient information, using contemporary technology methods as per regulatory mandates and departmental protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with patients, their families, and interdisciplinary teams to devise comprehensive and achievable treatment plans, ensuring alignment with the patients' goals and healthcare objectives.
• Deliver education and mentorship to students, interns, and volunteers, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration within Richmond Healthcare Services.
• Actively participate in clinical supervision and peer review processes to support team member development and uphold the highest standards of care.

Your primary focus will be on individuals and families affected by cancer, addressing the multifaceted emotional and psychological challenges associated with their diagnoses. You will work within medical and holistic frameworks, crafting individualized intervention strategies that promote healing and resilience during difficult times. Understanding their experiences and restoring hope will be central to your approach.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• A current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license issued by the State of Nevada.

• Previous experience working in oncology settings, providing therapy to patients with chronic illnesses, particularly cancer.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
• Experience in telehealth services to effectively engage with patients remotely.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
