  • Conduct regular safety meetings, operational reviews, and training coordination activities to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
  • Evaluate employee performance, provide constructive feedback, and administer annual performance reviews.

Client & Organizational Relations

  • Submit monthly CAM reports to the CRO and CSD detailing flight activity, crew performance, maintenance status, financial updates, and operational matters.
  • Communicate and coordinate effectively with Solairus Aviation regarding operational issues, owner requests, and department initiatives.

Operations & Safety Oversight
  • Oversee flight scheduling, trip planning processes, and operational logistics to ensure efficiency, compliance, and outstanding client service.
  • Ensure all flight department activities comply with FAA regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
  • Monitor operational readiness, crew qualifications, training status, and required documentation.
  • Promote and support Solairus' Safety Management System (SMS) by ensuring active participation and adherence throughout the department.
  • Facilitate safety reporting, risk assessments, and corrective action initiatives.

Financial & Administrative Management
  • Develop and manage the annual operating budget, including maintenance, training, travel, fuel, subscriptions, and crew-related expenses.
  • Monitor expenditures and identify opportunities for cost control and operational efficiency.
  • Review invoices, expense reports, and accounting documentation for accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist with contract management and vendor negotiations as appropriate.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; aviation management, business administration, or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing complex operational environments.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and relationship-management skills.
  • High emotional intelligence and the ability to effectively manage conflict and competing priorities.
  • Working knowledge of FAA regulations, Part 91 operations, Safety Management Systems (SMS), and business aviation best practices.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting and expense management.
  • Proficiency with aviation scheduling, maintenance tracking, and operational management systems preferred.
  • Discreet, professional, and service-oriented with a commitment to excellence.

Specific Qualifications/Certifications
Preferred Attributes
