Class Action Associate Attorney
Location: Burbank, CA (Hybrid - Remote & In-Person as Needed)
Department: Class Action Litigation

Salary Range: $110,000 - $130,000 annually (DOE)

Position Overview
We are seeking an Class Action Associate Attorney to join our Class Action Litigation Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly licensed attorney or post-bar clerk who has a strong interest in employment law and class actions. You will gain hands-on experience in all stages of litigation, working closely with experienced attorneys while building your own skills in advocacy, legal writing, and case strategy.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare pleadings, including complaints, oppositions to motions to compel arbitration, and motions for settlement approval.
  • Draft and respond to written discovery requests.
  • Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations (primarily virtual; occasional in-person appearances required).
  • Maintain extensive client contact, including case updates, witness preparation, and settlement discussions.
  • Participate in settlement negotiations and case strategy sessions.
  • Organize and manage case files to ensure deadlines are met and work product is of the highest quality.

Preferred (Nice to Have):
  • Bilingual in Spanish.
  • Prior experience in employment law or class action litigation (including internships or clinics).

Qualifications
Required:
  • J.D. and active California Bar membership (0-3 years of litigation experience; post-bar clerks will be considered).
  • Demonstrated interest in employment law and/or class action litigation.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Commitment to client advocacy and professional growth
