About the Role 

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Income Tax Manager to oversee our tax compliance, planning, and reporting functions. The successful candidate will ensure timely and accurate preparation of income tax returns, maintain compliance with tax laws, and provide strategic tax planning guidance to optimize the company's tax position. This role requires strong analytical skills and regulatory knowledge.

This position can be hybrid onsite 3 days a week at our corporate headquarters in Rock Hill, SC OR remote within the U.S.

 What we are Looking for
  • Oversee the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local income tax returns.
  • Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Manage tax audits and coordinate responses to tax authorities.
  • Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize tax efficiency and minimize liabilities.
  • Conduct research on tax regulations and stay updated on legislative changes that may impact the organization.
  • Review tax provisions, deferred tax calculations, and financial statement disclosures related to income taxes.
  • Work closely with internal finance teams and external auditors to ensure tax accuracy.
  • Identify process improvements and implement best practices in tax reporting and compliance.
What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or MST preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in corporate income tax or public accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
  • Experience with tax software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with multinational tax compliance and reporting.
  • Knowledge of ASC 740 and tax provision calculations.
  • Familiarity with tax planning strategies and risk mitigation.
