Design, implement, and refine 3D game and simulation features using Panda3D Develop custom tools and gameplay systems that enable flexible scripting and system control Collaborate with developers, artists, and researchers to translate requirements into maintainable code Optimize performance across diverse hardware and deployment environments Contribute to all phases of development from prototyping to release and ongoing maintenance Communicate technical concepts clearly in written and verbal formats Stay current on Panda3D advancements and development best practices Requirements Hands‐on experience with Panda3D for interactive 3D application or game development Proficiency in Python or C++ for scripting, gameplay logic, and tool development Strong understanding of 3D graphics concepts, game loops, and simulation architectures Ability to build adaptable systems and tools for varied use cases Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong collaboration ability Ability to work autonomously in a remote, distributed environment Track record of delivering high‐quality code and creative 3D solutions Experience developing 3D applications for research, simulation, or indie game production Familiarity with agile methodologies and version control systems such as Git Involvement in the Panda3D or open‐source development communities #J-18808-Ljbffr
