Generac's Supply Chain Rotational Program provides early career individuals with a 3-year rotational career experience which consists of three, one-year rotations across Generac's Supply Chain Departments. The program develops emerging talent through comprehensive exposure to multiple supply chain functions within a global manufacturing environment. Program participants rotate through various Generac locations in meaningful supply chain roles varying from planning, procurement, material analysis, transportation, new product introduction, and other critical supply chain positions to build broad-based enriching supply chain acumen. Participants have unique access to networking opportunities, access to top executives, community involvement, and personalized mentorship. Upon successful program completion, individuals build skills and supply chain acumen accelerating career growth in various supply chain professional positions based on years of hands-on emersion across the end-to-end supply chain operation at Generac.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
  • Previous internship or co-op experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or operations roles Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analysis and statistical methods.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with supply chain software applications
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and global supply chain principles
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional team environments
  • Must be able to interface with a multi-shift operation and frequent other locations as necessary
  • Ability to relocate to another regional Generac location

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA
  • APICS CSCP, CPIM, or other relevant supply chain professional certifications
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience in supply chain, operations, manufacturing, or related field

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

  • Advanced proficiency in supply chain planning software (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and data visualization tools
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
  • Experience with vendor and supplier management Knowledge of trade compliance, logistics, and global sourcing practices
  • Demonstrated experience leading process improvement initiatives or cross-functional projects
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to lead a team

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 - 50 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus.
