Role Description The Real Estate Title Processor is a full-time, on-site role based in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This role is responsible for preparing and reviewing title commitments, organizing loan and closing documents, and coordinating with lenders, real estate agents, and clients to ensure accurate and timely closings. Day-to-day tasks include ordering and tracking title searches, gathering and verifying information needed for mortgage lending transactions, and resolving title issues under attorney guidance. The Title Processor will also manage communication with borrowers and other parties, schedule closings, and maintain organized electronic and paper files. The role requires consistent follow-up, strong documentation practices, and adherence to firm procedures and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with loan documents and loan processing in a real estate or mortgage lending environment.
  • Knowledge of mortgage lending processes and terminology, including closing packages and settlement statements.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, lenders, and real estate professionals.
  • Proficiency with title, closing, or loan processing software and standard office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, PDF tools).
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple files and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Prior experience in a title company, law firm, or mortgage office is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an on-site, fast-paced environment.
