Job description

Under the direct supervision of the Chief Technologist and general direction of the Director, this position provides radiologic care to patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders. The Radiology Technologist Intern assists the staff technologist and performs all routine radiographic procedures and assists in fluoroscopy. This position must demonstrate anatomy under investigation through proper patient positioning, film identification, technique selection, administration of contrast media, application of immobilization and radiation protection devices according to department policy and procedures. Must be a senior student of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology. Must have completed freshman year of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology. CPR certification must be acquired within 3 months of hire and maintained annually.
Compensation:
$22.00 per hour
