Job description

A Surgical Technologist Intern role provides hands-on experience in the operating rooms assisting surgical teams during procedures. The intern will learn room setup, picking cases, and opening sterile items. Interns will work with an experienced Surgical Technologist or Registered Nurse to 2nd scrub holding retractors, instruments, or cameras.
The intern will learn work with Perioperative Support Technicians to assist with room turnovers, terminal cleaning, and patient transport.
Successful completion of the first year of introduction with an accredited surgical technologist program.
Basic knowledge of surgical technique.
Current Basic Life Support
Demonstrates manual dexterity and ability to lift and handle equipment and instruments.
Requires ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, twist, squat, and reach.
Pay: $20/hourly
