Job Description

About the Opportunity

Trucordia, a leading national insurance brokerage, is excited to offer a structured Internship Program. This internship provides qualified students with direct exposure to the sales lifecycle within the commercial insurance industry, working alongside experienced producers and brokers in a results-driven environment. This position is also open to non-students in the Rexburg area.

Job Summary

Employees will be responsible for outbound business development activities, including calling on current clients, cold calling and email campaign execution, designed to generate qualified leads for senior producers. This role provides foundational training in sales methodology, client communication, and insurance industry fundamentals.

Duties and Responsibilities:ย 

  • Conduct servicing calls to existing client
  • Execute outbound cold-calling campaigns to prospective commercial and personal lines clients
  • Develop and manage targeted email outreach campaigns
  • Schedule meetings on behalf ofย senior producers.
  • Collaborate with senior producers and brokers to understand deal sourcing and closing processes
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach activity and lead status
  • Participate in ongoing sales training and professional development
Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated with a demonstrated interest in sales or business development
  • No prior insurance industry experience required; training provided
  • Willingness to pursue Property & Casualty licensing during the internship preferredย 
Additional Information

Compensation and What you will Gain:

  • Starting rate: $14.00/hour DOE
  • Additional compensation for each completed scheduled call with producer.
