  • Enforce cleanroom and contamination-control requirements, including gowning, material staging, and cleanliness protocols.
  • Direct and mentor pipefitters, welders, plastic fusion technicians, and helpers while managing crew productivity and resolving field issues in real time.
  • Coordinate closely with Project Managers, QA/QC, safety, and other trades while overseeing material handling, fabrication tracking, and field verification of delivered materials and spools.
  • Track progress against the schedule, identify constraints early, and implement recovery plans while maintaining accurate daily reports, manpower logs, and as-built documentation.
  • Support inspection, testing, including hydro, pneumatic, and helium leak testing, and turnover packages while ensuring work complies with project specifications, P&IDs, isometrics, SEMI standards where applicable, ASME B31.3, and applicable codes.
  • Conduct daily toolbox talks and safety observations while ensuring adherence to site-specific safety programs.
YOU’RE READY FOR THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE

• 8+ years of industrial piping experience, with at least 4–5 years in a supervisory role on large industrial or semiconductor projects.

• Strong working knowledge of high-purity piping systems, including stainless steel and high-purity plastic piping such as PVDF and polypropylene/Polypro, orbital welding, and plastic fusion/joining methods.

• Proven ability to read and interpret P&IDs, isometrics, and construction drawings and lead multi-crew piping operations under tight schedules and high quality standards.

• Experience on semiconductor fab or advanced manufacturing projects is preferred, along with hands-on or supervisory experience with high-purity PVDF and polypropylene piping systems, including socket fusion, butt fusion, and IR welding techniques.

• Current or ability to obtain required site credentials and cleanroom access. OSHA 30 and relevant safety certifications are preferred.
