Job description

Plastics Fabricator

We have a full-time Plastics Fabricator/Plastics Welder position available working with extrusion and hand-welding machinery. Previous experience in fabrication or welding is a plus, but we are willing to train self-motivated individuals who are punctual and have a willing-to-work attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret spec drawings and blueprints, schematic diagrams, and internal orders to determine appropriate set-up, production method, and sequence of operation
  • Use a non-contact butt fusion welding technique to create parts
  • Precision hand-welding to assemble parts and completed pieces
  • Follow prepared plans to ensure assembly is completed efficiently and without error
  • Follow instructions to ensure proper setup of machines, parts required
  • Escalate concerns relating to product quality, safety, or process issues to lead or supervisor
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • This position requires standing for long periods
  • Overtime opportunities available
