Familiarity with version control systems like Git, basic knowledge of IDEs such as Eclipse or Visual Studio, and sometimes coursework certifications are advantageous. Strong problem-solving abilities, eagerness to learn, and effective teamwork and communication skills make interns stand out. These skills are essential for contributing to projects, adapting quickly, and building a foundation for a successful software development career.
