Job description

About the Role:

Join our team of dedicated staff in providing accessible mental health and wellbeing services for children, adolescents and families. Wilder is a first-implementer Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC). As part of this innovative model of mental health care, you will collaborate closely with other service partners in ensuring coordinated, integrated care for clients and their families.

We invite a talented, experienced Licensed Psychologist to provide academic and clinical oversight for our evolving practitioner to professional pipeline. This role is dedicated to the cultivation of clinical competence, tasking you with the comprehensive management of internship and postdoctoral programs within each of the therapy disciplines (social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy), and maintaining relationships with partner schools. You will participate in APPIC, work towards attaining APA accreditation for predoctoral psychology internships and develop standards for postdoctoral psychology fellowships. Beyond training, you will oversee the psychology teamโ€™s execution of advanced psychological consultation and assessment services, including understanding the business model of testing services. You will guide and champion division-wide staff development and ensure attainment of rigorous training requirements under statute and regulatory bodies, including DHS and CCBHC. Working in close concert with the Clinical Director of Community Mental Health and Wellness, you will promote an interdisciplinary synergy grounded in the One Wilder philosophyโ€”ensuring that Wilder remains at the forefront of culturally responsive, evidence-based care within a multifaceted community landscape.

A successful candidate will be flexible, organized, an excellent clinician, and adept at building relationships as a leader. Itโ€™s an exciting time to join us to help grow, stabilize, and determine the direction of our psychological services and training strategy.

Qualifications:

A doctoral degree (PsyD or PhD) in Clinical or Counseling Psychology and licensure as a Licensed Psychologist (LP) are required, along with a minimum of three years of post-licensure clinical experience providing direct care in therapy and/or psychological evaluation. Must have working knowledge of psychological assessment tools and testing instruments, as well as at least three years of experience supervising or overseeing the training and development of mental health professionals.

Preferred qualifications include completion of an APA-accredited program, prior experience working in a mental health or clinical setting and experience working with underserved communities.

About Company:

When you work at Wilder, you will join a diverse community of passionate individuals who are committed to the Wilder mission and dedicated to serving whole families. Our workplace diversity strengthens our mission and contributes to our vision of individuals and families thriving in St. Paul and beyond.

We offer a dynamic Total Rewards package, which includes competitive compensation and benefits โ€“ health, dental, employer-matched 401(k), PTO, paid family, medical and caregiver leave, life insurance, disability insurance, flexible spending accounts and employee wellness programs. In addition, you will have access to professional development opportunities, including development funding, tuition discounts, and training. You will also have access to Wilder's employee resource groups, and other opportunities available to all employees. Eligible federal loans may also qualify for deferment through the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program (PSLF).โ€ฏ
