This full-time role is primarily remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from home while maintaining a strong connection with our team through regular virtual meetings and consultations. • Conduct thorough clinical assessments to evaluate the mental health needs of clients, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their situations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that harness evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or family systems therapy, tailored to the unique circumstances of each client.
• Facilitate ongoing therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families, providing a safe space for discussion, reflection, and emotional growth.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment interventions based on ongoing evaluations and feedback, ensuring continuous improvement in therapeutic outcomes.
• Maintain clinical documentation that complies with California laws and organizational policies, guaranteeing ethical practice and accountability.
• Participate in continuous professional development through team meetings and training sessions, and share insights during clinical consultations with peers.

As an LMFT at Divine Mercy Psychiatry, you will work with a diverse client base that spans various backgrounds, cultures, and life experiences. You will engage with individuals experiencing relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health concerns. • An active and unrestricted LMFT license in the state of California is required.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Clinical Psychology, or a relevant field is essential.
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, ideally in community mental health settings.
• Proficiency in using DSM-5 for diagnostic purposes and familiarity with various evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively articulate clinical insights and build rapport with clients.
• A collaborative mindset, comfortable navigating both independent work and teamwork within a multidisciplinary clinical setting.
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems or a willingness to learn new technologies.
• Bilingual or multilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

While a minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is desired, newly licensed clinicians with relevant internship experience are encouraged to submit their applications.
