Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough intake assessments, biopsychosocial evaluations, and risk assessments to gauge client needs and appropriate care pathways.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are centered around client strengths and cultural contexts, in accordance with evidence-based practices.
  • Facilitate individual, couples, and group therapy sessions, offering targeted support using evidence-based modalities tailored to diverse client needs.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers, case managers, and community organizations to enhance client outcomes and ensure comprehensive support.
  • Maintain accurate and ethical documentation compliant with BBS and HIPAA standards to track patient progress and ensure continuity of care.
  • Participate in team meetings and peer consultations to foster professional growth and clinical excellence.
  • Stay abreast of licensure requirements and engage in continuing education to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LCSW at Divine Mercy Psychiatry, you will work with a diverse array of clients, including individuals dealing with trauma, housing insecurity, and systemic social inequities. Your efforts will directly impact these vulnerable populations by providing therapeutic support that addresses their specific needs and challenges. Qualifications
  • A valid and unrestricted LCSW license in the state of California.
  • A Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) accredited graduate program.
  • Solid understanding of trauma-informed care, systems theory, and evidence-based intervention methodologies.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, paired with exceptional documentation and organizational capabilities.
  • Experience or willingness to learn electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage client information efficiently.
  • Capability to work independently while actively contributing to a team-oriented clinical environment.

Preferred Experience
  • Two years of relevant post-graduate clinical experience in a mental health or social service setting, working with diverse populations.

  • Attractive annual salary range of $90,000.00 - $100,000, commensurate with experience and education.
