• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and risk assessments to understand the specific needs of each client.
• Develop and implement tailored, goal-oriented treatment plans that align with clients' individual objectives and therapeutic needs.
• Deliver psychotherapy services primarily to individuals and, depending on your expertise, occasionally to couples and families.
• Document all services and interactions in accordance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring compliance with professional guidelines.
• Engage in optional peer consultation and participate in team meetings to foster a collaborative spirit and share best practices.
• Maintain compliance with all California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) regulations and fulfill continuing education requirements.

Your role as an LPCC will involve working with a varied caseload of clients, including adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, and life transitions. We emphasize trauma-informed care and holistic approaches to therapy, ensuring our clients feel safe, heard, and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.

• Current, active Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) license in the state of California is a must.
• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based practices and diagnostic criteria, including DSM-5 guidelines.
• Exemplary communication skills and clinical judgment that allows for effective interaction with clients and colleagues.
• Proficiency or willingness to learn how to use EHR systems for documenting patient care.

• At least two years of experience providing mental health counseling in a clinical setting.

• A history of working both independently and collaboratively within a clinical team environment.

This position offers a competitive annual salary between $90,000 and $110,000, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package. We will contribute to your continued professional development through various resources and opportunities for training.
