Position: System Administrator 4
Location: Richmond, VA (23234)
Client: State of Virginia
Duration: 12+ Months

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced System Administrator to manage IT infrastructure and enhance the agency's IT operations. This role requires a hands-on approach to support users, maintain IT asset inventory, and ensure compliance with standards. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and be willing to travel statewide as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and implement enterprise IT asset inventory policies and procedures.
  • Support and resolve IT requests from agency users via various communication channels.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot applications, systems, and hardware.
  • Facilitate video conferencing and manage equipment shipping and documentation.
  • Provide technical training and support to interns and staff.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience adhering to Commonwealth IT policies and standards.
  • 5+ years of experience in server installation and configuration.
  • 3+ years of experience with Windows 11 and Office 365.
