Job Overview:
We are seeking 2 highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Project Managers to join our team. As a Junior Project Manager, you will assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects to ensure successful completion. This is an excellent opportunity for someone continue development of their project management skills and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment. Carepool is ahead of the curve and we need innovative thinkers who can make decisions on the fly as we build the brand.
Duties:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Coordinate project activities and ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
- Facilitate meetings with project stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on project progress
- Monitor project progress and track key performance indicators
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including status reports, meeting minutes, and technical specifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination
- Support the Project Manager in identifying process improvements and implementing best practices
Experience:
- Previous experience in a project management role or relevant internship REQUIRED
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools such as Redmine, Jira, and Smartsheet
- Familiarity with risk management techniques and earned value management principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical writing and meeting facilitation
- Proficient in budgeting and cost control techniques
