Job description

Ohara Davies-Davies Interiors, a boutique high-end design firm, seeks interns or design assistants that want to learn the business of interior design by assisting with day to day tasks in the office. We seek design driven, but detailed students or recent graduates of a qualified interior design program.

Tasks:

 Assist with sourcing, organization, maintenance of design library, including fabrics and other design materials.

 Assist with organization and curation of digital design library.

 Support with commutations to design showrooms and representatives for design library, project specific samples, quoting, lead times and etc.

 Assist with presentation creation for specific projects. Presentations consist of digital mood boards, tear sheets and finishes/fabrics.

 Assist with design drawings, based on CAD/Sketch-up/Photoshop capability.

 Support in procurement correspondence for order fulfillment.

 Assist on project installation coordination.

 Assist with various office tasks including answering phones, mailing, receiving/shipping of packages, office supply orders, etc.

 Mentorship with design team for daily responsibilities.
