The Electrical Engineer independently executes engineering tasks, manages components of projects, and coordinates with multidisciplinary teams. Under minimal supervision, this role leads the design, analysis, and implementation of MEP-T systems for small to medium-sized projects and represents the firm to clients in that scope.ย 
Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of discipline-specific systems for small to medium projects using Revit and modeling/calculation tools.

  • Assist senior engineers with complex designs, plans, andย calculations.

  • Perform calculations andย simulations.

  • Review product submittals and shopย drawings.

  • Respond to RFIs for assignedย scope.

  • Conduct site visits and prepareย reports.

  • Prepare technical documentation and participate in projectย meetings.

  • Ensure project delivery within agreed schedules andย budgets.

  • Comply with QA/QC procedures and assist in developing projectย workplans.

Qualifications

Educationย &ย Licensure

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree inย Electricalย Engineering.

  • Relevant professional licensure or certification preferred (EIT, PE, CPD, FPE, RCDD,ย etc.).

Experience
  • 4+ years of engineering experience in the AECย industry.

Technicalย Skills
  • Proficient in Revit and discipline-specificย software.

  • Strong grasp of building codes and designย standards.

Leadership & Managementย Skills
  • Capable of guiding junior staff and leading internalย reviews.

  • Able to balance multiple prioritiesย effectively.

Communication & Businessย Skills
  • Skilled in preparing reports, proposals, and clientย communications.

  • Comfortable representing the firm to clients for smallerย projects.

Supervisoryย Responsibility

No direct reports but may mentor junior engineers orย interns.

Workย Environment

Office-based with regular site visits; must adhere to safetyย requirements.

Physicalย Demands

Ability to sit/stand for long periods, use standard office equipment, and occasionally lift/move up to 25 lbs. Site visits may involve ladders, uneven terrain, and varied weather.
