Staff Experts, LLC is currently seeking to fill permanent Injection Molding Process Technician positions.

Injection Molding/Process Technician with a minimum of 2 years' experience. This position will report to the Lead Process Technician for but not limited to:


Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain standard cycle times and part quality
  • Be able to understand and communicate the information provided within the job packet pertaining to specification sheet, standard routing, B.O.M.'s, scrap reports and quality requirements
  • Be able to identify all resins used in molding operation including regrind and the associated usage percentage
  • Must understand and operate the operator interface 'CRT' screen on computer-controlled presses, including all screens required to control the process
  • Must be able to establish a new process, do mold sets, Robot Programming and start a machine based upon settings in Mold Books/QR Code.
  • Demonstrate a basic knowledge and understanding of hot runner systems, Valve Gates, and standard sprue molds
  • Trouble shoot issues on Injection Molding machines and Robots.
  • Other duties as assigned by Management

Requirements:

  • Knowledge with Wittman and Servpro Robots preferred.
  • Organized, detail oriented, team player with a sense of urgency
  • Resourceful, with ability to apply critical problem-solving skills
  • Effective Communication Skills
  • Applicant must have 2 plus years' experience as a process tech in injection molding or similar process
  • Follow departmental documentation procedures
  • 5S and Lock Out Tag Out experience preferred

AVAILABLE SHIFTS: 2nd Shift 4PM-12AM & 3rd Shift 12AM-8PM
