INTERNSHIP TYPE: Internship - Information Technology
HOURS/SCHEDULE: 20-40 hours/week, Monday-Friday 8AM-4:30PM
PROGRAM/LOCATION: Information Technology, Windsor
PROGRAM OUTLINE:
This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting end users within an organization's desktop computing environment. You will learn how to install, diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade PC hardware, network, and voice equipment to support optimal system performance. Through this experience, you will develop troubleshooting skills by identifying and resolving technical issues in person, by phone, and via email, while providing timely and effective support to end users. You will also gain exposure to supporting IT systems across multiple locations, building practical knowledge of real-world IT operations and end-user support.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Must be enrolled in a bachelor's level IT program
Experience: preferred but not required
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Valid driver's license
