Wage: $80,000 - $101,000/yr, commensurate with experience

Requirements
Job Responsibilities:
  • Assess and interpret evaluations and test results to determine optimal physical therapy treatment plans.
  • Administer diverse physical therapy treatments in accordance with regulatory standards. Guide patients in performing exercises and using therapeutic devices, ensuring adherence to treatment plans.
  • Educate patients on present condition(s) and instruct on preventative aspects of self-care to facilitate and maintain a higher level of wellness.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals for effective discharge planning and follow-up programs.
  • Document patient care services meticulously in patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
  • Assist in ensuring physical therapy aides, student assistants, and volunteers function within their appropriate scope.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
  • Ensure the operation of equipment through preventive maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Incorporate clinical expertise, patient values, and current best evidence into daily clinical practice.

Education/Certification requirements
  • Graduate from an Accredited Physical Therapy Program
  • Successful completion of clinical internship.
  • Current Colorado physical therapist license required
  • BLS Certificate within 3 months of hire

Experience Required:
  • One (1) year of practical physical therapy experience preferably in orthopedics and sports medicine; OR any combination of training and experience.

Physical Requirements:
  • This position works in the patient physical therapy gym in a medical practice.
  • The position involves regular walking, sitting, standing, bending, and lifting throughout working hours.
  • The ability to lift objects weighing over 50 pounds is essential, as well as the ability to push wheelchairs and transport/support patients as needed.
  • Candidates must remain constantly alert to ensure patient safety in the workplace.
