Job description

Overview:

Our client is looking for a Junior Field Construction Inspector to support telecom/construction projects across the Phoenix metro. This is a fully field-based role โ€” no office time โ€” working directly with construction managers and GCs on active job sites. Great opportunity for someone early in their career looking to get hands-on construction experience.

Day to Day:

  • Report to assigned construction manager each morning for daily site assignments
  • Travel between 3โ€“4 active job sites per day (company vehicle provided)
  • Work with 2โ€“3 general contractors across assigned projects
  • Inspect active construction work and ensure progress aligns with plans
  • Communicate updates with construction managers and document site status
  • Spend full days outdoors moving between job sites

Must Haves:

  • Some construction field experience (internship, labor, or entry-level acceptable)
  • Exposure to or interest in directional drilling / underground utilities
  • Strong time management and ability to work independently in the field
  • Valid driverโ€™s license (company vehicle provided)
  • Comfortable working outside full-time in heat and active construction environments

Nice to Have:

  • Any experience with construction or utility work
  • Experience working with general contractors on job sites
