This is a unique opportunity to join a team dedicated to bringing hope to the City of Baltimore and participate in serving at the very first Women's Teen Challenge Home in Maryland. The home is beautifully remodeled, small, intimate, and family-oriented, accommodating up to 6 adult women.
Baltimore ranks among the top five cities in the nation for addiction and associated crime. Despite these challenges, the beauty and potential of Baltimore are unparalleled. Our city is ready for transformation, and the need for support is immense.
We are thrilled to seek out a mature Spirit-Lead leader to assist in the the early foundational years of this home, which is brimming with innovative ideas and opportunities.
We are excited to "Get Love Right" as we bring the hope of Jesus to a new frontier for the struggling women of Baltimore City. As it is written, "Let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth" (1 John 3:18).
Key Tasks:
• Facilitate med call
• Ensure safety and security on Teen Challenge campus
• Unpack and inspect incoming student belongings
• Conduct regular student room inspections
• Accompany student body on scheduled outside events and outings
• Accompany students to appointments (MD, Dental etc.)
• Serve as main after hours point of contact for Staffand Executive Director
• Maintain lodging at Teen Challenge center
• Assume responsibility for shut down and lock up of center at night
