What is an Internship H1B Programming position?

An Internship H1B Programming position refers to a programming or software development internship offered by a U.S. employer to candidates who may later apply for an H1B visa. While internships themselves are usually filled by students on F-1 visas (such as through CPT or OPT), some companies may sponsor interns for an H1B visa if they wish to continue employment after graduation.
