Job Description
  • Assisting and work closely with the product manager

  • Supporting the CEO and Creative Director with various special projects

  • Creating cutting tickets for production

  • Running errands to pick up raw materials

  • Local market sourcing for leathers, linings, and hardware

  • Organizing production materials

  • Assisting the production team

  • Managing the Open-To-Buy

  • Keeping track of production charts and daily updates

  • Uploading new styles

  • Wrapping packages and preparing swatch kits for customers

  • Conducting analyses about fashion market, customers, styles, and trends

  • Checking orders both when they come in and after they have been entered for accuracy

  • In addition, we will provide you with own projects such as 3D printing research and prioritizing potential factory upgrades

Qualifications

We are looking for a highly self-motivated, resourceful and reliable intern to help us with virtually everything we have going on related to the physical product. This candidate needs to be excited about the fashion tech community, and enjoys consumer brands and being part of a fast-paced fashion business with a lot of moving parts, where we are completely disrupting an industry.

The ideal candidate is motivated to take initiative and self-lead while completing tasks, is super smart, an excellent communicator and detail oriented, proficient in Microsoft Office (very good with Excel), or the Apple equivalent as well as analytical. Familiarity with Garment District is a plus although not necessary. Lastly, it's all hands on deck in a startup so this person needs to be willing and comfortable doing anything that comes up, as we all are doing! Must be able to work full-time 9 am until 6 pm. This is an unpaid internship.
