Job description

Position Overview:

The Game Presentation Intern will assist with home game activations and other logistics for the Washington Wizards G-League affiliate, the Capital City Go-Go. This position is focused on creating an exciting environment for fans to watch professional sports. This is a paid internship.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and implement game night promotions and activations.
  • Assist with organization and day-to-day administration of entertainment teams.
  • Support the creation of game night elements and promotions.
  • Research new and successful game entertainment tactics and work to apply them to the Go-Go.
  • Collaborate on crafting content that will enhance each team brand.
  • Work all Go-Go home games and events.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Current undergraduate or graduate student.
  • Previous game night experience a plus.
  • Outstanding teammate; excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; creative.
  • Ability to balance multiple projects at once and is detail driven.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Facebook, and Twitter.
  • General knowledge of professional sports and is passionate about building an exciting atmosphere for fans.
  • Availability to work 25 hours per week between September and April.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Reliable transportation and housing.
Pay Rate: $18.40 USD/hour
