The Broadcast / Game Presentation Intern reports directly to the Associate Athletics Director for Marketing and works daily with the Athletics Broadcast Engineer to assist with live streaming and game production operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Job Functions
  • This position will be responsible for assisting and collaborating with game presentation team in the preparation of all elements for Villanova Athletics home games.
  • The position will learn control room positions including Director, Technical Director, Replay Operator, Graphics Operator, Camera Operator, Utility, Engineer, and more.
  • This position will learn, produce, and execute live streaming operations for Athletics Department.
  • The position will work with the Athletics Broadcast Engineer to develop scripts and rundowns for streams.
  • This position will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of live streaming equipment.
  • This position with assist the Associate Athletics Director for Marketing & Athletics Broadcast Engineer in the scheduling and management of free-lance and student work force.
  • All duties and responsibilities must be completed in compliance with University, Conference and NCAA rules and regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:
Formal Education:
  • Bachelor's degree required.

Work Experience:
  • At least one year of experience in athletic video production is required.

Work Skills
  • Applicant must have experience in producing live web streams; in-arena video board production; experience using Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects; graphic design and animation and the use of lighting equipment and audio equipment.

Other:
  • Candidate must be able to work holidays, weekends and evening hours.
