Description - Your Role Awaits

• Conduct both routine and complex clinical lab tests-ranging from chemistry to hematology, immunology, and beyond-adhering to established protocols.
• Verify the accuracy of results, troubleshoot issues, and maintain lab equipment through regular calibration and preventative maintenance.
• Assist with collecting specimens and preparing them for testing when necessary.
• Document all procedures in detail, mentor interns or new staff, and help to uphold the high standard of quality in the lab.
• Ensure the work environment is safe and clean, following all regulatory and accreditation protocols.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree, with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications Required

• ASCP or AMT Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Ongoing maintenance of certification is mandatory throughout your career.
