Job Summary:

They are seeking a Software Engineer to join their Engineering team, where the role involves building and improving backend services, contributing to system design discussions, and delivering impactful features for millions of members.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Taking ownership of well-scoped features and delivering them from implementation through production
โ€ข Building and maintaining backend services within a distributed microservices architecture
โ€ข Contributing to data-intensive applications and gaining exposure to cutting-edge techniques in:
โ€ข Real-time transaction decisioning
โ€ข Stream-processing
โ€ข Machine learning
โ€ข Participating in code reviews and contributing to a culture of engineering quality
โ€ข Contributing to engineering best practices including testing, monitoring, and documentation
โ€ข Collaborating with product data and business stakeholders to ship features that directly impact Currentโ€™s members
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข 2+ years of software engineering experience, with backend experience using a JVM language, preferably Java
