To thrive as an Internship Engineering Consultant, you need a solid understanding of engineering principles, analytical problem-solving abilities, and enrollment in or completion of a relevant engineering degree. Familiarity with CAD software, project management tools, and data analysis platforms is typically expected, along with knowledge of industry-specific standards. As an Internship Engineering Consultant, you can expect to be involved in a variety of projects such as technical analyses, feasibility studies, and process improvements for clients across different industries.
